The challenge
BD Building Projects needed a visa solution to retain highly skilled workers on Working Holiday Visas, who were approaching their six-month employment limit. They wanted to transfer these team members onto a longer-term visa to continue project delivery and maintain workforce continuity.
Our solution
We provided full guidance on eligibility and employer requirements, managing the entire s482 visa nomination and application process on behalf of the business and each candidate. To minimise disruption, we also helped candidates apply for a waiver of the six-month work limitation while their visas were being processed, keeping projects on track and people in jobs.
The outcome
Everyone’s now back on the tools. The visa transfers were approved, the workers stayed on, and BD Building Projects avoided the cost and downtime of replacing valued staff. Our work helped create stability for their team, ensure continuity for their clients, and provide new long-term opportunities for motivated workers already contributing on the ground in Australia.
Client feedback
“Working In made the visa process straightforward and stress-free. Their advice was spot on, and they took care of everything, allowing us to keep the people we needed. Highly recommend.”
